Artsakhbank

ARMECONOMBANK

2011
  • For the first time in Armenia EBRD lengthened its participation (25%+1 share) for a maximum possible period (another 3 years) in ARMECONOMBANK’s Chartered Capital.
  • Issuing Bank Agreement for Trade Finance was signed between ARMECONOMBANK OJSC and Asian Development Bank under which the bank joined the Trade Finance Program of Asian Development Bank.
  • The second USD5mln Loan Agreement for SME lending was signed between ARMECONOMBANK OJSC and Black Sea Trade and Development Bank.
  • A loan Agreement of USD6mln (the equivalent of USD6mln in local currency) was signed between ARMECONOMBANK OJSC and EBRD for on-lending to small and medium-sized businesses.
  • Became a member of VISA international payment system.
  • Joined IntelExpress payment system.

Armenian Development Bank


"Armenian Development Bank" OJSC is among the first commercial banks in the Republic of Armenia founded according to founding agreement signed on 14 September, 1990 however the bank actually started its activity in the fall 1991. Till November 1995 The Bank operated under the name of "Reconstruction and Development Bank". According to the license provided by RA Central Bank, the Bank is entitled and renders a wide variety of contemporary banking services, different types of property and resident and non-resident legal and physical persons representing different branches. Legal status of the Bank is Open Joint Stock Company (OJSC), authorized capital and emission income is 4,556,662 thousand AMD. The state doesn't have a share in the structure of capital.     

Unibank

"Unibank" CJSC was founded in October 2001. 

Initial authorized capital stock of the Bank is 2 799 million AMD. 
The shareholders of “Unibank” closed joint-stock company are “Ripatonso Holdings Limited” company (75.43%),  Gagik Zakaryan (12.285%) and George Piskov (12.285%). 
“Unibank” branch net counts 42 points of service, as well as the Bank’s representative office operates in Moscow (Russian Federation).

ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK


The ACBA bank was established in 1996, within TACIS program of the European Union.

Credit Agricole Consultant consulting service of the French Credit Agricole bank jointly with Dutch Rabobank and German DG-Agroprogress companies successfully implemented the three-phase bank establishment program.

  In the first phase of e program implementation (1993-1994), a study on possibilities for financing the Armenian agriculture was carried out, as a result of which a recommendation was made to establish an agricultural bank under the model of the European cooperative bank.
