1992
The bank started its activities in Republic of Armenia as the Yerevan branch of Menatep bank of the Russian Federation.
1996
 The bank was later reorganized into a closed joint stock company by keeping status of the subsidiary bank.
2000
The shareholders were completely changed and the bank was renamed to ITB International Trade Bank CJSC.

2002
The bank joined Makarios group. The new office of the bank was opened at 18/3 Amiryan st., Yerevan. The bank became a member of SWIFT (The Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication).
2003
The Ministry of Finance granted a dealer status in the market of medium-term Government coupon securities. The bank is an issuing and servicing member in the ArCa payment system.
The bank has elaborated and launched a new mechanism for the financing of trade by installments.
   
2004
The bank joined PrivatMoney and VIP Money Transfer systems of private money transfers. The bank acquired shares of ArCa CJSC.

2005
Makarios (MG) Holdings GMBH became the shareholder of the bank with 99.91% participation. The CBA registered Vanadzor, Malatia and Argavand branches of the bank.

2006
The CBA registered Abovyan branch of the bank. The bank is an issuing and servicing member in the Europay International payment system. The bank established a representative office in Vienna.
2007
Byblos Bank SAL gained 100% share in the chartered capital of ITB International Trade Bank CJSC. ITB International Trade Bank CJSC was renamed to Byblos Bank Armenia CJSC.

2008
EBRD (European Bank of Reconstruction and Development) and OFID (The OPEC Found for International Development) participated in the chartered capital of the Byblos Bank Armenia with the following shares EBRD-25%, OFID-10%. Byblos Bank Armenia CJSC Abovyan branch was closed.
