"Anelik Bank" CJSC was founded in 1990 August 1, by enterprises and organizations of Light Industry as a Shareholding Commercial Bank. In 1996 the shareholding commercial bank "Anelik" was registered (License # 9 of the Central Bank of the RA) and since then has been operating as "Anelik Bank" Limited Liability Company. In 2007 "Anelik Bank" LTD was reorganizaed into Closed Joint Stock Company. "Anelik Bank" CJSC is a universal commercial bank, which has an active participation in the social-economical area of ​​the country

2001

the Bank became a member of the S.W.I.F.T. system;

the Bank became the shareholder of "Armenian Card" Company;

the Bank was awarded the Gold Medal of the Society for Encouragement of National Producers of France.

The bank was included in the lending program of the Organization of Marketing assistance of the Agrodepartment of the USA.

2002-2003

The Bank was included in the lending program of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development

Opening of "Arabkir" Branch of the Bank;

The bank became a member of "MasterCard International" payment system;

Registration of "Anelik Ru" LTD Subsidiary Commercial Bank by CB of RF;

Cooperation with USA International Development Agency.

2004

Opening of "Nor-Nork" Branch;

2005

Lending Agreement with Commerzbank under guarantee of KfW

Organization of the II International Conference on remittances (Yerevan).

Acquisition of new building for Gyumri branch.

2006

Opening of "Shengavit" branch of the Bank

Opening of Etchmiadzin branch of the Bank

The Bank was awarded the prize of the Citibank

The bank was awarded the prize of the Armenian Deposit Guarantee Fund

Organization of the 3rd international Conference on money transfers (Yerevan)

In Fevruary the Bank became a full member of VISA International system

2007

Cofinancing loan agreement was signed with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development for granting large / major loans.

Loan agreement on crediting micro, small and medium sized businesses was signed with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

A new agreement was signed with the "Rural Finance Facility" agency based on the World Bank financing with the purpose to implement a loan program stimulating agricultural activity.
